This piece was created during Art Basel Miami 2008 at a private party on Star Island. I fitted my model (Carol) with blank raw canvas into a dress. I glued, sewn and stapled the dress on her along with a belt that I made out of bird feathers. The feathers was from a collection of mine from my birds I had many years ago.  They would moult these beautiful feathers a couple of times a year which I  saved. The large feathers are from a blue and gold macaw, the little feathers are from various amazon parrots.

I painted my model to music during the party with acrylic paint. Carol provided the hat which added an extra touch! It  was a great performance with many of the guest joining in by passing the paintbrush around having everyone paint on the dress as well as me painting the guests! A good time was had by all.

After the event, I cut the dress off Carol and now it is displayed on a metal sculptor of a mannequin in my private collection.
